Bitcoin Price Predictor

A high school project and my first real deep learning build. I pulled hourly BTC-USD candles with yfinance, added technical indicators like RSI, MACD and a set of EMAs, and flagged candlestick patterns such as engulfing and hammer candles. On top of that I trained a stacked LSTM in Keras that looks back over a week of candles to predict the next closing price. The second half of the project was a trading simulator: a wallet that starts with $1000, stakes 10% per trade on the model's signals, and lets me compare different buy and sell strategies against just holding. Spoiler: it did not make me rich, but it taught me how LSTMs, feature scaling and backtesting actually work.
